What RSSB announced

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) runs this recruitment under advertisement 04/2026. The board issued it on 12 January 2026 and amended it on 15 January 2026. It covers 10,644 posts of LDC Grade-II and Junior Assistant. Of these, 9,642 are in the non-scheduled area and 1,002 in the scheduled area (TSP).

The written exam took place on 5 July 2026, in a morning and an evening session. The board released the provisional written result and the cut-off on 28 September 2026. Our copy of the result notice has 5 pages in Hindi.

How many made it to the typing test

RSSB shortlisted about three times the advertised posts in each category for Phase-II. The notice does not print a total. By our rough sum, three times 10,644 comes to about 31,900 candidates. Treat that as an estimate only.

The roll numbers sit in separate PDFs on the results page. One list covers the non-scheduled area and another covers TSP. A wider list also names everyone who passed the written exam, which is more than those called for typing.

The notice prints no department-wise cut-off. It gives one cut-off per category for each of the two areas.

Cut-off: non-scheduled area

These are the cut-off marks the notice prints. GEN is the general (open) seat, FEM female, WID widow, DIV divorcee and EX ex-serviceman. NA means the notice prints NA. A blank cell is blank in the notice too.

The same table gives single figures for five more groups. BLV is 72.3822, HI 79.28, LD/CP 110.4279, MIMD 71.3177 and SP 110.7737. The notice does not spell out these short forms.

Cut-off: scheduled area (TSP), with the corrigendum

The TSP table has rows only for GEN, SC and ST.

SC123.0917123.0917NA

The other TSP figures are BLV 74.0776, HI NA, LD/CP 71.4109 and SP 75.1564. RSSB printed 104.5336 inside the MIMD row.

On 14 October 2026, RSSB issued a corrigendum. It says to read the TSP GEN (DIV) cut-off as 84.9879 in place of 71.1465. The rest of the result and cut-off marks stay as they were. Note that the ST (DIV) figure of 71.1465 is unchanged.

Deleted questions and disqualified sheets

Each paper had 150 questions in 12 sets. RSSB deleted one question per set in Paper 1 and six per set in Paper 2. The board marked everyone with its approved formula. A key factor scales the marks for the valid questions left. Each wrong answer and each unattempted question costs one third of a question’s marks.

The board disqualified candidates who left more than 10 percent of questions with no bubble darkened. The notice prints this as “1126 (Paper-I-1123, Paper-II-176)”. The two bracketed figures add up to 1,299, not 1,126. The notice does not explain the gap.

Three roll numbers (1553450, 1598611 and 1851386) applied as both Divorcee and LD/CP. RSSB listed them under Divorcee, so they get no typing test exemption.

How to check your name

  1. Open the RSSB results page and look for LDC Grade II / Junior Assistant, 2026.
  2. Pick “List of Shortlisted Candidate’s for Type Test”, either NTSP or TSP.
  3. Open the PDF and search for your roll number with Ctrl+F.
  4. Compare your category with the cut-off tables above.

The result stays provisional. It depends on the final decision in SB Civil Writ Petition 24709/2025 before the High Court. RSSB can also drop anyone who gave false details or used unfair means.

Typing test dates and pattern

Phase-II runs online on 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 28 and 29 December 2026. You will find the e-admit card on rssb.rajasthan.gov.in. The admit card will state the time the gate closes. RSSB will post a mock test link about 15 days before the exam.

PaperSubjectTimeMarksMinimum to pass
1Hindi typing speed10 minutes259
2English typing speed10 minutes259
3Hindi efficiency10 minutes259
4English efficiency10 minutes259

You must clear all four papers. SC and ST candidates get up to 5 percent relaxation in the minimum marks of every paper.

In the speed test, the English passage has 500 words. Each correct word earns 0.05 marks. The Hindi passage has 400 words at 0.0625 marks each. By our sum, 9 marks needs 180 correct English words or 144 correct Hindi words in 10 minutes.

The notice sets no speed in words per minute. It only sets marks per correct word.

Wrong letters, missed or repeated words, wrong punctuation, spacing slips and wrong capitals earn nothing. In Hindi, a wrong matra also costs the word. So does a repeated matra that the screen hides but the computer counts. The notice says केवल typed as “dsoy” is right, while “dssssoy” is wrong.

The Hindi efficiency test runs in MS Word 2013 and the English one in MS Excel 2013. You get 15 separate questions in each language. They cover paragraph and table work such as fonts, headers, borders, spacing and cell formatting. Cut, copy, paste, right-click, Select All and the function keys will not work.

Ctrl+Z does, and so does Backspace. Do no formatting or editing beyond what each question asks. After the test, sign the certificate below the question paper and hand it to the invigilator.

Rules on the day

  • Hindi typing uses the Standard keyboard with the DevLys 010 font. Check the key layout against that font before the exam.
  • Do the practice test after you log in. Report any keyboard, mouse or screen fault to the invigilator before the test starts.
  • Backspace works in the speed test only until you press Space or Enter after a word.
  • Once a test starts, it stops only when its full time runs out.
  • Report any hardware or software problem to the invigilator at once. RSSB will not hear such complaints after the exam.
  • Do not press Alt, Control or any shortcut key, and do not open other software.
  • Leave your own keyboard and key stickers at home. Phones and Bluetooth devices are banned.
  • Do not change the ready-made text beyond what a task asks. Extra edits cancel the marks for that paragraph or table.

Documents and what comes next

The Phase-II notice names only the e-admit card. It lists no other papers for the test day, so check your admit card for any added instructions.

RSSB says it will share new and updated information on rssb.rajasthan.gov.in, so watch its news page after 29 December. For the same board’s other exam this winter, see the CET Senior Secondary admit card details. Another recent state list is the UP Police constable final result, and more are on our results page.
