How the board ranked candidates
Because the written exam ran in six shifts, the board normalised the scores. The board considered only candidates who cleared the written exam, DV/PST and PET. Among them, rank comes from the total normalised written score. The PET is qualifying only.
Next, UPPRPB matched candidates to posts. It used merit, the order of preference you gave in your application, and the UP reservation rules. So the post you get also depends on the order of preference you gave.
The service rules for each post set the tie-break. When two or more candidates have equal marks, the tie goes to the one with a preferential qualification first. Next comes the older candidate. Last, the board uses the first letter of the name in English alphabetical order.
Category-wise cut-off (vertical reservation)
These are the normalised scores of the last selected candidate in each category. The notice does not print the maximum marks.
| Post | UR | EWS | OBC | SC | ST |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Civil Police | 266.57849 | 261.59726 | 263.7037 | 252.81045 | 238.28209 |

| Special Security Force | 270.12436 | 266.27683 | 267.70714 | 258.58176 | 247.03915 |
| Women Battalion | 256.65799 | 253.1969 | 253.86618 | 242.0025 | 216.25886 |
| Mounted Police | 272.8272 | 266.57849 | 269.20771 | 260.96088 | 249.91162 |

| Jail Warder (female) | 261.7753 | 257.12296 | 258.03661 | 247.3078 | 230.13881 |
Mounted Police has the highest UR cut-off, but it has only 30 UR seats. Special Security Force comes next at 270.12436. PAC/Armed Police, the largest post, has one of the lowest UR cut-offs.
One score appears twice. 258.03661 is the OBC cut-off for Jail Warder (female) and the OBC women’s cut-off in Civil Police.
Women and horizontal reservation cut-offs
Civil Police is the only post open to both men and women. Its women’s cut-offs are UR 262.30755, EWS 257.12296, OBC 258.03661, SC 247.35926 and ST 225.8777.
The notice also prints cut-offs for three horizontal groups. A blank cell below stands for a dash in the notice. We left out rows where the notice shows only dashes.

How to check the result
- Open the UPPRPB notice board. Find the entry dated 14-10-2026 with the link to view the final selection result.
- The link opens the result portal on upcons2025.com. The board’s own notice board points to this address.
- Enter your registration number and date of birth, then press Submit.
- Read the lists for your post. The board shows each post’s result separately. List 1 has all selected candidates in merit order. Lists 2 to 6 cover UR, EWS, OBC, SC and ST, each in merit order.
- Save or print the page that shows your status.
Where are the marks?
The final notice gives no individual marks. In the previous recruitment, the written exam result also came as a list without marks. Candidates complained on X. One post, quoted by Careers360, read:
“Only the list of UP police constable 2024 result has come.” (Careers360, 22 November 2024)
The same candidate asked the board to show raw and normalised marks for everyone. That result came out on 21 November 2024.
This time the notice gives a timeframe. Every candidate who sat the written exam will get a normalised score. UPPRPB will put these scores on its website in the third and fourth weeks of November 2026. A separate notice will explain how to view them.
If your name is not on the list
The board called 76,184 candidates to document verification and PST. It selected 32,679 of them. By our count, 43,505 of those called are not in the final list. That number includes anyone who missed or failed DV, PST or PET. It also includes those who passed but ranked too low.
Wait for the normalised score in November before you compare yourself with the cut-off. Then compare it with the cut-off for your post and category. If you claimed a horizontal group, check that column too.
What comes next
- Your selection depends on a medical examination by the appointing authority. Your education, reservation certificates and character verification must also hold up.
- The notice gives no dates for the medical, joining or training. Watch the board’s notice board for them.
- The board took care with the lists but accepts no blame for a technical error. A wrong entry gives no one any right or benefit.
- UPPRPB will not accept or consider separate RTI applications about the information in this notice.
The MP Police driver constable exam starts on 4 January 2027 for those who applied. In Rajasthan, the RSSB LDC cut-offs and typing test dates are out.
More police and armed force openings are on our defence and police jobs page. Sportspersons can still apply for the CRPF sports quota constable posts until 11 November 2026. For other final lists, see our latest results.
